WHO AM I, AND WHY WOULD I DO THIS?

My name is Cameron Welch, a jiggling bag of flesh with bones inside of him that needs to be free (YES). I do not have any direct relation to skeletons beyond that, or even any catharsis for starting this skeleton-based blog in the first place. But here I am, on a Tuesday, pretending to rattle (HAHAHAHAHAHA) on about these things like it's some kind of great fandom, even though what I am reviewing is pictures.

Well baddabing. You've been ployed into my skeletacular honors project. It's more or less a parody of how emotionally attached people can get attached to certain parts of media, from how people can read too much into some scenes or episodes, or berate a piece of media strictly out of bias. All of this is constantly paraded under the guise of analysis and critique, which is only more insulting when their issues become temper tantrums.
Now, I love critiquing things, which is why the first few reviews on this website are going to seem very soft and actually relatively mild. But when you get to the later parts of this site, it's going to be a hole-digging contest where the only bottom is how massively depressed I can get based on my preconceived notions that the skeleton series is falling apart. All of this is negligent of the opinions of others, and it only manages to shut down discussions you can have with others about the things you love, even if you don't necessarily love it that much anymore!
Something I've noted about this honors project as well as with a lot of my other projects is that it was exceptionally easy for me to complete simply because I was doing something that I was having fun doing. My various mustache projects are reflections of that, because I knew exactly what I was going to do the second I had the basic idea planned out: a crazy idea was going to be brought to life in any way I possibly could. I feel like that mindset is indictive of my state as an honors student: I'm going above and beyond on my work simply because it is work that interests me. In my opinion, Digital Media and other classes at CTEC honestly should be where Honors and AP courses are offered more in our curriculum. There's going to be a lot more people interested in pursuing a career in design, and the real world is in demand of designers.
